CEMA B, C, D & E Idlers
Douglas® manufactured Idlers are engineered for demanding CEMA B, C, D or E applications with an interference fit between the shaft and the bearing for improved sealing, better stability and longer life. Douglas® idlers are available in a wide variety of configurations including: troughing, return, impact, rubber disc return, self aligning trough, self aligning return, scale quality and live shaft.
Douglas® idlers feature:
- Deep drawn steel end cap with metal outer seal provides excellent durability and protection
- Exclusive Triple Lip Polyurethane Contact Seal helps prevent bearing contamination
- The optional Defender™ Polymer Flinger helps prevent material buildup between the end of the roll and the frame as well as helps provide additional sealing in wet and corrosive applications
- CNC Machined, shouldered shaft helps ensure proper bearing alignment
- Rigid, self cleaning, welded steel frame with interchangeable mounting slots
- Heavy precision ground sealed for life ball bearings

Impact Beds
Douglas® impact beds are designed to help protect the belt at key transfer point areas and keep conveyed material where it belongs – on the belt. Impact beds are available in seven different configurations to help fit your application requirements. Engineered or custom designs are also available helping to ensure that Douglas® will have the correct solution for your application.

Magnetic Separators
Douglas® magnetic separators are for use in helping to separate tramp ferrous metals from conveyed material. Most commonly they are suspended above and across the belt pulling metal up and away from the product flow. Magnetic Separators are available in heavy duty and super duty field strengths and in manual and self-cleaning configurations. Magnetic pulleys are manufactured to CEMA standards and can be used in most any head pulley application. Douglas® magnetic separators are manufactured in the U.S.A.

Pulleys & Lagging
Douglas® conveyor pulleys come in both drum and self-cleaning wing styles with standard crown face construction (flat face is optional). There are five classes of drum pulleys: Heavy Duty, Mine Duty, Quarry Duty, Extreme Duty and Engineered Class. Wing pulleys come in four classes including Heavy Duty, Mine Duty, Quarry Duty and Extreme Duty. Douglas® pulleys are manufactured in the United States of America.

Take-Ups
Douglas® take-ups are designed to help take up belt stretch as it relates to the belt conveyor system. Take-ups are available in the following styles: Slide Tube Take-Ups®, top angle protected screw, heavy duty top mount, light duty top-mount, heavy duty center pull, wide slot center pull and the Scissor Pivot™ Gravity Take-Up Assemblies.
