Parts Salesperson

Premier Equipment are a leading OEM distributor for crushing and screening machinery in the New England territory. We have an opening for an experienced parts salesperson to sell a variety of wear & aftermarket parts for crushing and screening machinery.
The salesperson will lead parts sales efforts within the assigned territory to ensure revenue growth and a high level of customer satisfaction. This individual should have a positive attitude, passion to make sales calls, strong oral and written communication skills, solid computer kills, be organized, possess a strong desire to assist customers & be a self-starter.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Take an active role in managing and growing a dedicated sales territory that includes a large, pre-existing customer base.
- Prospect and develop new leads/accounts through cold calling.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new/current customers to enhance the potential to sell parts and service.
- Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those parts best suited to their needs.
- The incumbent will provide advice and expertise to customers on competitive spare part programs and stock parts inventory.
- Have the knowledge to assist customers in providing recommendations and solutions to parts problems.
- This is sometimes a work from home position and we are open to looking at Candidates from anywhere in NE as long as they are willing to entirely cover the assigned territory.
Qualifications:
- End user Parts Sales, Aftermarket and Wear Parts Sales for crushing & screening machinery in NE would be ideal.
- Experience in parts sales for the crushing & screening industry; heavy equipment parts, troubleshooting, and repairs or demonstrated abilities through on-the-job training or education.
- Experience in strong customer service and working with parts, service, and operations manuals.
- Ability to apply concepts such as basic math skills, fractions, micrometers, percentages, ratios, proportions to practical situations, and able to convert decimals into inches.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Internet.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Strong knowledge of state specs for crushing and screening machinery very beneficial.
